Chinese Drones Enter The Civil Era

Chinese drones enter the civil era: half of the manufacturing history, three unexpected things
How much can change in ten years?

In 2011, WeChat was just born; the most popular iPhone 4S had a standard capacity of 16GB. Ten years is enough for a product to go from birth to glory, and it is also enough for a young man to go from his hometown to the world.

For the industry, the changes in the past ten years have also exceeded everyone’s expectations. More than ten years ago, drones were still far away from ordinary people - less than 10% of the Chinese drone market was civilian drones, and the rest were all military drones.
In ten years, China’s civil drones have achieved great growth. Liu Daxiang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, has estimated that by 2023, China's drone market will reach 96.8 billion yuan, of which military drones will be about 35 billion yuan and civilian drones will be nearly 62 billion yuan. In a market worth hundreds of billions, civilian drones will account for more than 60%.
