Standard use and safety of agricultural drones

What's first, safety!

Safety is the first priority at all times. When doing plant protection, what you need to pay attention to is the safety of the aircraft. The safety of the aircraft means not getting too close to the aircraft, because the environmental complexity of each plot is different. Sometimes when I fly, the distance between the ground where I can stand and the crop field is only about one meter. At this time, I will take the side view and use the ailerons of the aircraft to slowly fly over the enclave. Hover to start spraying and find a location to continue the operation.

It can be mentioned here that a safe distance is reserved at both ends of the plot. One is the starting distance in front of the pilot, and the other is the distance in front of the ground staff. If there are walls and trees, you must report 30m, 20m, and 10m in advance to stop. Then when there is not enough area to be plowed, some farmers are more generous and won't let us plow the border because we are too tired. If you say you can beat the pot yourself, some will ask you to sweep the side, the flying hand sweeps here, and then go to the ground crew to sweep it. The whole job is completed. This is a safety precaution when flying.

The second item is the precautions for pesticides. Because we are spraying pesticides on crops, the pesticides generally used are harmful or corrosive drugs. Personnel applying pesticides must wear protective equipment. Pilots must also judge the wind direction and control the distance of the aircraft to prevent pesticides from being sprayed on the face and body by the wind.

The third thing to pay attention to is the battery. We know that the temperature during the plant protection season can reach 36 to 38 degrees. Batteries must also be protected and not placed under your feet, on the road, or where pesticides will come into contact. In the past, we had a battery exploded by a car, which was very dangerous.

Pilots must develop the habit of maintaining and cleaning the aircraft. They can use a hair dryer, rags and detergent to clean the fuselage, wings, landing gear and spray system. At the same time, check whether the screw arms of each component are firm, whether the shaking is excessive, and whether there are any cracks in the fuselage.
